    • I thought this book was a faithful continuation of the movie. I'm a big John Carpenter fan, and Big Trouble is easily one of my favorites. I was really excited to finally read this. The writing was really good. Jack Burton's character was really well written, and we get some background information on his character that was not in the movie. I did think that Wang's character was a little over the top compared to the film version. The plot is well paced and plotted, and really fits into the mythol [...]

    • This is an absurd, grand, otherworldly follow-up to the film of the same name, taking place (seemingly) not long after. I like that John Carpenter (director of the film) was involved in the storyline. Since we'll never get a sequel in film-form, this is the form the sequel takes. An almost surreal chase between worlds with zombies and spirits of that netherworld, this has got to be one of the most enjoyable graphic novels I've read and gawked at in ages. I'm looking forward to getting hold of Vo [...]

    • I saw the issues on the shelf at the comic store and breezed through them not thinking much of them. I waited until the GN came out and still didn't buy it. I got some tax money back and was like. F it, I'll try it. The original movie is my favorite movie of all time, I have seen it over a hundred times so I had little to no expectations for the comic for some reason. I love this book. It was quirky and fun. I just love it. Brings me back to the movie I love, while exploring some more of the uni [...]

    • The illustrator took some serious artistic license in his interpretation of Jack; he looks more like Bruce Campbell than Kurt Russell

    • Fantastic read and spectacular continuation of a classic! John Carpenter and Eric Powell have created what is sure to be a classic in comic books and a victory in cult classification. I loved it and I cannot wait for the following volumes to be released. :)
